QUALITY

Savory or sweet, salty or spicy, our food is delicious! The strength of the menu at The Rock is our reliance on local, fresh ingredients. In the Chiriqui Highlands we benefit from an abundance of fruits, vegetables and legumes as well as rich dairy products. We feature the best locally-sourced meats, along with a variety of fish and seafood from the coasts. Preparing dishes that enhance rather than obscure these wonderful ingredients is our chef’s goal.

CHEF'S CORNER

Boquete’s Fresh Ingredients On this occasion, I would like to talk about all the ingredients you find in our home town Boquete. The quality of the products is unparalleled, that is why people call Boquete the legume garden of Panama. We work with legumes and vegetables that have been just extracted from the land.

ABOUT THE ROCK RESTAURANT

The Rock opened in 2009 under the direction of a duo of hospitality experts who shared a vision of creating a unique eating experience in Boquete. Jörg Senne and   Andrew Wilkins are the forces behind Select Small Hotels, a hospitality management company that owns and operates The Rock. Based in Boquete, the company manages a number of properties throughout Panama.
